Rick Dubord

President

Rick Dubord is a rare combination of visionary and implementer. When he sees an opportunity, he does something about it. His ideas become successful realities.

With a background in the real estate industry, Rick, along with a partner have established Benchmark Realty in 1983. Currently Benchmark has eight corporate offices in the Fraser Valley and, for seven years, has held twenty-five percent of the market share. In 1986, Rick and his partner purchased the franchise rights for HomeLife BC. HomeLife is a national real estate franchise that provides marketing tools and Branding. This allowed Benchmark to maintain identify and have the benefits of National networking opportunities. Therefore Benchmark operates as HomeLife Benchmark Realty.

As his real estate companies grew, Rick recognized the importance of technology to this booming industry. Worldwide Info Systems Corp. was founded out of the growing need for websites to be professionally developed and were designed specifically for Real Estate offices and agents.

As technology evolved, so did Rick's vision and SeeVirtual360.com was created. SeeVirtual360.com provides a variety of quality online information and marketing tools including virtual tours for the real estate industry (condos, houses etc.), bed & breakfast accommodation, hotels, restaurants, golf courses, museums and many others leisure activities. Last year they turned 13,000 tours.

Rick is also one of the founders of Nuance System Ltd the Virtual Business Center designed for the real estate industry by REALTORS®. This technology is the corner stone for the development of the first paperless office in Canada. Virtual Business Center is the only transaction management system built for the Canadian Real Estate industry and is expanding across to the western provinces.

Rick currently sits on the Broker Council at the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board and is a director of REBA; Real Estate Brokers Association of British Columbia. He is also the Chairman of the HomeLife Variety Annual Golf tournament 7 years running which raised 45,000 last year totaling $220,000 to date. All the money goes to assist the children with special needs through the Variety Club.
